About Rudesheim

Formally known as Rudesheim am Rhein, this German winemaking town is located in the Rhine Gorge and is part of a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site. Rudesheim was originally settled by the Celts, but the Romans took over the area in the 1st Century.
