See the city from which the Mayflower set sail for the New World. Plymouth, a British Royal Navy port, is home to the historic Barbican district, which is lined with Tudor and Jacobean buildings and is where the Mayflower disembarked in 1620. The Mayflower Steps mark the final departure point of the Pilgrim Fathers, and the ship’s passenger list can be found on the side of the nearby Island House.
