This tour was a great bargain! What a good price for everything we saw and did, and I even splurged on some of the extra activities that you can partake in. Our guide told us that Solvang means "sunny field" in Danish, and this small villag..e was very fascinating. I enjoyed being in a town, which reminded me of Europe. Hearst Castle was a fantastic palace, we were able to take pictures but without the flash and they came out nicely. I simply loved the castle and its antique architecture; it reminded me of the many castles found in my home country, Scotland. I had always wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge in person, and it is really an impressive feat. I went on the San Francisco Bay Cruise in order to get up close and personal with the bridge. It was spectacular! My wife wishes we had opted for the Fisherman's Wharf though because she really wanted to walk along the pier and try the delicious seafood- but she was glad she came on the cruise with me. We both thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Yosemite National Park and wished we could have stayed more time there- but alas, our trip was over. I will be back though and when I do I would like to do another tour with tours4fun.Read full review
Seeing these places up close is so much better than watching travel shows about them. Visiting San Francisco was a treat for me. I've been aching to see this city for years. The cruise was okay, but I didn't get to see much of Alcatraz beca..use of the fog. The mission at Santa Barbara was beautiful. I couldn't get enough of the ocean view during the drive! Las Vegas was spectacular. I had so much fun window shopping and gambling. I can't wait to go back. Thanks tours4fun for making this one my best trips ever!Read full review
It was amazing how much the scenery changed along Interstate 15, you start in Los Angeles where are the hustle and bustle of the big city is, and then you end up in the Mojave Desert- simply incredible. Las Vegas was amazing of course and U..tah was a very interesting state. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys finding out about the United States's diverse regions- its amazing to think that all these places are located in only one country! I also liked the Arches National Park, its stone masterpieces were incredibly beautiful and I think I was able to get some great photos for my scrapbook! I had read about the Crazy Horse Memorial but wasn't prepared for its actual beauty, and Mount Rushmore simply took my breath away! Yellowstone National Park was any nature lovers dream, from the hot springs to the geysers to nature all around you, this was a great experience and one that I will cherish for years to come.Read full review
My kids are still too young to enjoy camping, so we decided on a theme-park tour for its convenience. Theme parks have improved their services since I last visited. At Disneyland, parking the stroller at a ride entrance wasn't as bad as it ..used to be. Universal is more kid-friendly than it used to be. My girls loved Shrek 4-D and The Simpsons Ride. We did have one minor hiccup during our Sea World trip. We had a hard time convincing the girls to walk through the shark exhibit, but they were brave and ended up loving it. We were lucky. If your kid is afraid of dark spaces, I recommend skipping Shark Encounter. After spending the day the park, we went and had a nice family dinner in the Gaslamp Quarter. Overall, we had a fantastic time. This was one of our better vacations.Read full review
My fiancee and I had a very nice time on this tour. Our guide was punctual and was waiting for us when we arrived in Denver. I really enjoyed visiting the Coors Brewery and taste-testing the wares at the end! Since my wife is half-Native In..dian, she absolutely LOVED seeing Cheyenne and the Crazy Horse Memorial. She took so many pictures there and it was quite the site. Mount Rushmore was so much better in person than it is in books. The hotels we stayed at were pretty nice and the staff was always very friendly. I could have done without the visit to the West Coast Museum as museums are not my favorite places, but the other people on the tour seemed to have a good time there. Devil's Tower was a site that really moved my fiancee and I, it was quite interesting and it felt very spiritual being there. But our favorite part of the tour was Yellowstone National Park and seeing Old Faithful and Mammoth Hot Springs, what a relaxing afternoon! Salt Lake City was all right, but my fiancee wishes there had been more time to go shopping. Overall, the tour was very worthwhile.Read full review
My siblings and I enjoyed the theme parks, but we had a blast in Vegas. My brothers really liked The Rockhous' Girls! Girls! Girls! The thought of doing the Skywalk had me freaked out, but the views were the best. The Skywalk is a must for ..anyone visiting the Grand Canyon. Just a word of caution, the bus ride to Las Vegas did not feel leisurely. The bus-ride felt like it was more than four hours, but apparently that's normal.Read full review
I had a good time on this tour although it seemed like the drive was FOREVER from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, but I was very happy to see the shinning lights of the Vegas strip and knew that we had arrived at such a fascinating destination. I.. liked having time on my own to go shopping and to hit the casinos and I really liked the Masquerade Show in the Sky at the Rio Casino- it was very impressive. And what can I say about the Grand Canyon except it was GRAND!!!! I wasn't sure how impressed with it I would be since I am a world traveler but its beauty was incomprehensible until you have seen it with your own eyes- the Skywalk was kind of scary at first, but then I decided to venture out onto it and had a wonderful view all the way down to the Colorado River below my feet! That part is not for the faint of heart! I could have done with more time at the Fashion Outlet Shopping Center and less time at the Chocolate Factory, but the treat at the end was yummy. I will tell my friends about the fun time I had on this trip!Read full review
Seeing Hearst Castle from within is a wonderful experience of historic European architectural styles. Its admirable view of the open Pacific Ocean (with seals on the coast) made me wonder how a genius had made art and nature mix in a fasci..nating manner. To top that, the collection of antiques and other elements such as the cinema whose walls were lined with shelves of rare books is quite an amazing sight!Read full review
I have to say that my family liked this tour very much. We appreciated the help of our tour guide. He was very friendly and made our hotel transfer very easy. The first day we went to the Adventure Park, my kids really liked the train ride... We spent the second whole day in Sea World. My wife and kids were very excited and we had a nice time there. The last day we visited Universal Studios. I loved the theme park because I'm a move buff. The only pity was that my wife said that she didn't have time to do some shopping, but for my kids and me the tour was quite good.Read full review
This tour is so hot that we made a reservation almost one month in advance. I love Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The natural sceneries are amazing and the wild animals are very lovely. The most impressive spot, I think, should be the geysers... The other feature of this tour is that you can live in Yellowstone National Park 2 nights. Sounds good? The hotel we lived in was Canyon Lodge. The room was neat and comfortable and we had 2 great nights there. I highly recommend this tour: wonderful and affordable.Read full review
I was kind of skeptical about whether or not I'd be impressed with this tour, but as you drive up the road to the rim of the Grand Canyon, at first you can't really see much, and then WOW! All of a sudden it's right there in front of you. M..y husband, 2 boys and I all let out the same type of reaction at the same time. OH MY GOODNESS! It's truly an unbelievable sight! We hiked down partway and every vista was simply incredible. My sons had a wonderful time and my husband and I have a new appreciation for the vast wonders that the Grand Canyon has to offer. Try the Skywalk, its scary and breathtaking at the same time. The tour really surprised me by how good it actually was.Read full review
There really is no city in the United States as charming and as scenic as San Francisco. From the skyline to the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz Island, there is nowhere like it. The fog over the bay, the cable cars, the sourdough bread, the.. Gridelli Chocolate Factory, Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Coit Tower, etc., really made the city come alive. The tour was great, the shopping and the sites were beautiful and the restaurants were very nice and welcoming. I simply loved North Beach and the Dungeness crab is delicious! The tour guide was informative and made the tour fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the San Francisco tour to my friends! I love San Francisco and just fall back in love with this city every time I think about it!Read full review
My husband and I visited Yellowstone National Park last week and had an amazing time. However, the geyser Old Faithful was our least favorite attraction. There is so much hype about the geyser that people pack the area when it is predicted ..to erupt. If the geyser has not gone off by the predicted time, people start complaining about how its "late". Then there is a crush of people trying to go all different directions as soon as the eruption is over. Hardly worth the annoyance and effort when there are other geysers just as impressive predicted with good accuracy by the park service, with fewer crowds. My advice is to find out when the geyser is predicted to go off and then head to one of the less visited areas of the park. There is too much beauty to see here than to be stuck on a bench in crowd of thousands. But, the rest of Yellowstone was great and we had a fantastic time.Read full review
100% Amazing tours with special places that other companies do not have

I chose this tour because I want to go to Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower and Yellowstone. I can't find other tour companies that include Devil's Tower with this price. The Devil's Tower is really impressive. However, our favorite place is the ..Yellowstone National Park. The geysers are fantastic. This tour gave you two chances to see it. It also took you to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, which is so much impressive than the Grand Canyon in Arizona. You pretty much got to see everything in Yellowstone. I and my mom did not speak any chinese but the guide is knowledgable and quite funny and we have no problem to understand his English.
The only drawback about this tour is the drive on the first day from Denver to South Dakota. However, if I have to fly to Rapid city, in which you can find other tours to take you to Mt. Rushmore, the price is so expensive. This tour is incredible and so affordable. Highly recommmended!!!!Read full review
These tours are contracted to some tour operators.
Given below are the pros and cons of the trip.
Pros: You will be able to visit the key places in this trip.
Great value for money.
Cons: You can have chinese food for many oppor..tunities(not sure if this in good/bad side). I do not recommend buy show tickets through the tour guides. It would be better and cheaper if you can do the booking all by yourself before you start on the trip but you want to confirm with Tours4Fun about the exact date in Las Vegas (apparently it is not a fixed date for everyone.) Hotels are sometime boring - If you are a couple you will end up getting double occupancy. Ensure you speak to them before you book the tickets Some of the hotels give you "smoking" rooms - difficult for "Non-Smokers" Hoover Dam is Just "Hi & Bye Hoover Dam" - Don't get to spend more than 15 min. It may be a good photo point. There were other viewpoints better for photo stop. Yosemite was a little waste as we spent a full day in travel to spend 1 hour at Yosemite. The tour guides may not have any control over guests. Some of them were oblivious to the fact that there are 25 other passengers and they take their own sweet time to board the bus. There is no proper breakfast available. Many hotels didn't have a kitchen. The boating trip in Grand Canyon is majorly an eyewash. They just take you few minutes into water. Why we find this funny is because we saw another party going exactly in the opposite direction of our boat. So we are not sure what we missed and we know what they missed. For the one day tours, come prepared in your sports gear because most of the time you will be chasing the tour guide who will be holding a flag high and walking as though he is participating in the 30 mile olympic walking competition. I suggest tell tour guide you would like to spend the time on your own in the theme parks and meet him up at the end of the day. We don't know if the above mentioned "bad" is actually bad but that is the part of the package that you are buying.
