Wonderful 3 day national parks tour from Las Vegas - excellent value, highly recommend
"We wanted to book the 7 day national parks tour and it was full, so we booked the 3 day tour instead and it was fantastic from start to finish. The iti..nerary is packed, make no mistake about that, but Bindlestiff know about tours and what works. There was never a dull moment and we traveled with two other families and a couple, 13 of us in all, lovely people from around the world.
Our guide was Brad, a 40 something well travelled, quirky, funny, friendly guy who knows his stuff and shares as much or as little as you want. He has great life stories to share too. The route was well planned, the locations, stops and everything were excellent. All the recommended walks/ trail routes were perfect.
Our routing was scenic throughout, departing from Las Vegas to Zion (via Glen Canyon/Dam), Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon, also stopping along Route 66. We added on the optional Antelope Canyon which was mesmerising, plus a 25 minute helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, which was fabulous.
The vehicle, tents, sleeping bags and equipment were in excellent condition. The tents were new and easy to put up/pack up. Sleeping bags / sleep sheets were spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. Very clean hot shower and toilet/washing facilities. Camping locations were perfect (the second night with a clear view of Monument Valley for sunset and sunrise).
The trip stops were all amazing and wonderful each in their own way and its not possible to say one is better than the other! We highly recommend this trip, Bindlestiff Tours and Brad.
We are also going on the 3 day Yosemite tour from San Francisco and will review that."Read full review
This tour was so good that after I took my godson 3 years ago, I took my adult daughter this time. The sites are amazing. Zion, Bryce, Dead Horse, Canyonlands, Arches, Monument Valley, Horseshoe Bend, Grand Canyon including the helicopter r..ide. It was a hot week with temps near 100 sometimes and our guide Joel Clark showed us some nice places to cool off. During the drives from place to place, Joel shares his knowledge of the local history of the Southwest including the Navajo, cowboy culture (art and literature) to present day Vegas throughout the trip. He provides insight to the area with his geological discussions of the rock formations and the plant and animal life. Camping in tents was very comfortable and listening to Joel play his guitar and sing around the campfire on a cool evening made this all a spectacular trip. Finally, this trip was at the end of June 2020 when Covid restrictions were in place and they did a great job following the guidelines. Thanks Joel for another amazing trip. PS Joel was my guide on the first trip also and both trips were really uniquely awesome.Read full review
We booked this tour a year ago and then COVID entered the US in March 2020. We were so fortunate to be able to take this tour; my husband I were Bindlestiff's first tour to occur as Nevada, Utah and Arizona began to open. The trip was every..thing we had hoped for! We chose the lodging option and the motels were very clean and comfortable. We also encountered several areas that were still closed due to COVID. However, Joel our guide made sure to fill in with exciting places that were not on the original tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a highlight tour through these national parks.Read full review
I literally (Joe literally said literally a lot) cannot say enough good things about this amazing trip.
Our guide Joe was super friendly, VERY informative, and made sure all needs were met the
entire three days. This is a PACKED three day..s and totally worth the money. Zion was hot but a
great solid hike. Bryce was delicately beautiful and one of the best hikes I've ever done.
Camping was a bit chilly in the morning but expected. Horseshoe Bend was just stunning! The
jeep ride through the Navajo Reservation with Joseph was very informative and a great way to
see Monument Valley. Even managed a picture where Forest Gump says "I'm gonna go home
now". Day three was all about the Grand Canyon! I'm glad the hike around the rim was easy as I
was pretty wiped but the views, WOW! A quick stop at a historic Burger/Milkshake shop on
Route 66 was a great way to end this trip. I highly recommend this trip and this company. I was
well taken care of from beginning to end. TIPS: Hiking backpack with water bottles, saline nose
spray (for those coming from humid climates), cash for a tip (Joe deserved every bit of the $$),
and choose the camping option...you won't be disappointed. Thanks for making my bucket list a
little shorter!Read full review
The best tour I ever booked with tour company. It was only 3 of us as it was late in the season
and COVID-19 i guess but we were very lucky to still have it on. Stunning places, all worth
seeing, very well organized, great group of people.. and our tour guide Khriss was very
knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and funny. Thank you!Read full review
What an exceptional trip with such a knowledgeable tour guide, Joe. He knows so much about each park and points out every possible point of interest. The beauty of the parks alone is sufficient to amaze anyone. I have a fear of heights, but.. Joe was masterful at minimizing my quirk. My favorites, and it is so hard to pick, was the "slot canyon", Zion, and Monument Valley. Having a tour and a meal with a Navajo was very interesting and informative. If you are interested in a first rate experience, choose the tour! If you are lucky enough to have Joe as your tour guide, and Cindy in the home office for administrative support, you will have hit the jack pot.Read full review
This was the most fantastic tour. It showed so much of the wonderful natural grandeur of southern US which is what I wanted to see. The transport was excellent and I had great confidence in the driver. The two female guides were friendly bu..t maybe it would be nice to have a friendly get to know you drink or something on the first night as everyone spoke different languages and it was hard to chat.Read full review
Itinerary was excellent. The tour was conducted in both English and Chinese. The tour guide's English was adequate. Road noise on the bus was quite pronounced. A lot of time it's hard to hear the tour guide. Only handbag or backpack we..re allowed on the 2-days tour. That's OK since I was told ahead and were prepared. We stayed at Super 8 motel. Surprisingly, Super 8 room was pretty clean and nice. The tour guide was very friendly and accommodating.Read full review
Very kind tour guide Jay. He show us many interesting points in the near of Grand Canyon and give us a lot of tips to visit in Vegas and outside. We apreciated the updated information about pick up us from the hotel + name of the tour guid..e and bottle of wather for the trip. :-) Maybe one minus - the car what has been arrived for us wasn´t marked by Tour operator Logo (Tours for Fun) and there were many other cars with coloured posters of "Gran Canyon" so we didn´t know which one is waiting for us...Read full review
Our tour guide/driver Frank was great!! He kept us informed and stopped in between for resting time. The actual antelope tour was nice, but I feel that there should be more time in between each group, so that there’s more time to take in ..the experience and photos. The actual antelope tour felt a bit rushed. Although the tour guides were great.Read full review
