The tour was ok but it is important to read all about it!
They only drive you to the places they say. but if you think (as I did) that the price of the tour in the anthelope canyon is included you are wrong, you have to pay other 55dollars.., if not you would have made a 4 hour trip and nothing else.Read full review
I did the 3-day camping tour to Zion/Bryce, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon on October 2, 2017, with Bindlestiff Tours. Our driver and guide, Jon Maret, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, friendly with a great sense of humor, punctual.. and professional. A lot of driving was involved but he helped to fill the long journeys with many interesting facts and historical information about the areas we were driving through. He kept the group interested and laughing with his stories and jokes.
I was a little worried about doing a 3-day camping trip with a group of complete strangers but Jon made everyone feel at ease. He gave us a printed itinerary and was very organized. He gave us tips on the best hikes we could do given the time limits at each location.
Lower Antelope Canyon was the highlight of my trip; the formations and colors were surreal. The hoodoos at Zion were stunning. I was a little disappointed with Bryce and Grand Canyon but maybe I would have enjoyed them more if we had more time to explore.
This was a highly memorable trip where I checked off several items from my bucket list. I recommend this camping trip with Bindlestiff Tours.Read full review
Everything was good on this tour. New (2017) bus. Great guide.
Timing and tour planning was great, we had enough time at all stops.
Suggest to everyone who has limited time like we did - 1 day, to visit Grand Canyon.
I expected the tour guide to actually talk about the places we were going to, and the sceneries we were passing to get there, but he never gave us any substantial information. We didn't learn much from this tour. Also, most of the places we.. went to were obviously just establishments that the tour company was making commission off of--such as the Chinese buffet place and the Ethel Chocolate factory. On top of this, it seemed as if the tour company was making profit off of us through the entrance fees to our destinations. A good example of this would be the Grand Canyon South Rim, where they charged a much higher price than the standard rate. Overall, very very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.Read full review
It was really bad for the tour guy not to check me into hotel until I made payment for extra attraction fee. He kept me waiting for 2hrs and even wanted to go out while my boyfriend was still trying to sort out the additional charges. I had.. to give him 100usd, the only cash i had at that time before he checked me in.
I felt the value of the extra attraction fee was not worth it. Buffet was bad with stale food.
Asides that, hotel was great.Read full review
