Arrive at a jetty pier and board a long-tailed boat ride for about 30 minutes, passing through remote plantations and Thai villages along the river and winding canal. At the floating market of Damnoen Saduak, it is amazing to see a lively market scene of local vendors selling local foods, tropical fruits, and numerous handicraft products on their boats. You are able to experience yourself in one of these paddling boats and touch the real atmosphere in the realm of this legendary market.

A ride through the interesting parts of Bangkok with a stop at the Golden Buddha, Reclining Buddha, and Marble Temple. This tour takes you through the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to visit two of the capital’s most significant and visually stunning temples. Wat Traimit houses, the world’s largest solid gold Buddha (5.5 tons of precious metal) and Wat Pho, which is the oldest temple in Bangkok and houses the Reclining Buddha, a 45-meter-long statue that depicts Buddha entering Nirvana. Wat Pho is also Thailand s first university and houses a wealth of art. It is still an important center for traditional medicine and massage. Continue to Wat Benjamabophit, also known as the marble temple featuring a fusing of Thai and European styles and an ubosot covered by Italian marble. Take a flight to Chiang Mai.

Today you will learn more about elephant behaviors in natural surroundings at Bamboo Elephant Family Care and spend time with these wonderful animals in a sustainable way. In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and drive about 1,5 hours to the sanctuary. Upon arrival, the mahout will explain about the elephants and their traditional organic herbal dietary supplements. You will prepare some herbal medicine for them. Then observe the rescued animals in a natural way (no riding). Walk with them through the jungles to see how they will bathe the same way as in the wild. Then we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Chiang Mai is a great place for a vacation with its tranquil atmosphere and beautiful nature. Have a free day to explore this city at your own pace. We recommend you to walk along the cozy streets of the city and feel the authenticity of the local life. Don't miss the San Kamphaeng Road which is also known as the Handicraft Highway which stretches for 18 km. Here you will find lots of local crafts. In the evening the Night Bazaar on Chang Klan Road is worth visiting to buy interesting local goods and snacks. If time permits head to Bua Tong National Park (about a 1-2 hour drive depending on where you stay) for a hike in the jungles and climb up the "sticky waterfalls", the limestone texture will allow you easily walk up and down the waterfall without slipping. This will be a magical experience.

In the evening, eat seafood for dinner, browse a night market, or go for a drink on lively Bangla Road.
